DAV Pakhowal Road students cracked NTSE-2016

It was a celebration time for DAV Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana when two of the students Vikrant Gupta and Jaskaran Singh Kalra were enlisted as NTSE scholars by NCERT. The tide of happiness and excitement overlapped the sheer hardwork of the student. It was really a roller coaster journey for both the intellectuals since they cleared the first level and got selected among 6200 students out of 5 lakhs appearing. At the final level 1000(775-Gen & 225-Res) students were declared the NTSE scholars, where Vikrant and Jaskaran were the fortune spinners to be amongst those achievers. With this achievement both Jaskaran and Vikrant are entitled to a scholarship of Rs. 2000 per month throughout their higher education. Both the scholars dream to be I.I.Tians and are very happy to receive consideration during entrance to IIT as NTSE scholars much before. Vikrant is already excited to be selected in IIIT Hyderabad with this acheivement.It is a dream come true for him Jaskaran was equally excited to share that appearing in this exam no doubt consumed a lot of focus and effort but the fruit they had reaped is much more sweet.

The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated and congratulated the achievers and their parents for making the school proud. She also shared her elation saying that it was the much awaited and expected achievement since the two of them cleared the first level. The boys have successfully laid the foundation of their bright future. Mrs Bhullar also showered her blessings and best wishes on the prudent duo. She also stressed that such type of competitive exams are really helpful in preparing children in future endeavour. Such platform boosts the student morale and confidence to confront the challenges comfortably and easily. Mrs Bhullar credited and thanked Shri R.S. Patial Ji, Former Regional Director and Founder DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road Ludhiana for the strong foundation and excellent work culture laid by him during his tenure. The fruits of success which we reap today were once sown by Shri Patial Ji.
