DAV Pakhowal Road Ludhiana honours its premium students for their glittering achievements in CPT and JEE Mains-2017
DAV Pakhowal Road had a gala time extending a huge welcome to the recently passed out Senior Secondary Alumni for bringing accolades for the school by grabbing scintillating positions in the Common Proficiency Test and Joint Entrance Examination 2017. It is indeed a proud moment for the school that Nomya Singla had paved his way to the brilliant future with a knocking score of 181/200 in the CPT-2017. The AISSCE school topper Tanvi Goyal derived a bouncy score of 164/200. Mallika Thethi is also on her way to create her own success story as she had secured a great future with prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi and with a remarkable score of 157/200 in CPT. Bikramjot Singh and Bharat Sharma have also opted to become successful C. A.s with grand scores.
The mighty students from Science stream have also left no stone unturned to enhance the glory of the school with their unbeatable scores at JEE Mains 2017. It is indeed a privilege for the school to pass on its gems to several prestigious colleges around India to be further polished into precious stones. Bhavjeet Singh is all set to sail for his ultimate career at IIT Kanpur. Harshit Pruthi and Naman Arora has grabbed the golden opportunity to fulfill their dreams at BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad respectively. Yogini Pawar, the school computer wizard has been selected to pursue her career at VJTI Mumbai.
The Principal Dr Satwant Kaur Bhullar arranged a special celebration to honour the aforementioned achievers. She shared her elation with all the guests, staff and the students who were present to witness the momentous ceremony by saying that she is on cloud nine. With Almighty's grace and blessings and under the guidance of the esteemed Chairman Padamshree Dr Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi, Dr. S.S. Johl Ji (Vice-Chairman) the school has been progressing leaps and bounds. The meticulous efforts of the parents,teachers and the students have bore fruit. The school is proud of its stakeholders. She also shared that this achievement is a milestone before many more to come. The success that seems effortless superficially has a huge investment of midnight oil that was burnt by the students to beat the tough competition.
The achievers were rewarded with cash prizes and lots of appreciation. The victorious students were equally excited to visit their almametre and get the much deserved applause.
