Shreya Arora of Class VIII of DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana brought laurels at the National Level SPACE ASTRO PODCAST CONTEST 2017. Out of over *2,000* entries around the country Shreya Arora's composition was adjudged first in the category of VI to VIII. She was appreciated for her tremendous presentation skills. Mrs Harpreet Kaur (HOD Science Dept) shared that Shreya is a hardworking and sincere student who always exhibits keen interest in astronomy and space science. Her online composition went through several windows and was judged by Dr. Nimish Kapoor, Scientist 'E' & Head, Science Films' Division, VIGYAN Pasar, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and Mr. Dilip Jha, Programmer - Science Cell. All India Radio (AIR) finalized the entries and Shreya's entry was declared to be the best. Expressing her elation Mrs Harpreet Kaur asserted that Shreya truly deserved the achievement. The Principal Dr Satwant Kaur Bhullar conveyed her heartiest congratulations to the grandparents,parents and teachers of Shreya who have contributed to her achievement. She also appreciated the efforts put in by all the school students who are aspiring for their bright future. She ensured to produce and present innumerable assets to the society in coming times.
