Cultural Fiesta at DAV Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana

To streamline and demonstrate the real meaning of ‘Secularism’ to the budding stakeholders of the nation, DAV Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana organized a Cultural Fiesta for the students of Class III. The Principal Dr Satwant Kaur Bhullar shared that it was the most important celebration in the school pertaining to the lesson of National Integration and unity. Childhood is the best stage to develop and inculcate the sense of equality and brotherhood. Through such celebrations it becomes convenient and effective to sow the seeds of communal harmony and peace. The teachers and students have really worked hard to frame this idea. The students participated with verve and enthusiasm. It was eye feasting to see the cultural panorama. The sections were assigned different states to display the unique culture of their respective state. They came dressed up in traditional attire and carried the prominent cuisine of their state. Each section exhibited the ethnic dance and music of the individual state. The Fancy Dress Show presented by the little angels enthralled the audience. The participants were beaming with confidence and enjoyment.

Pr. Dr. Bhullar graced the celebration with her valuable presence. She appreciated and encouraged the students to maintain peace and harmony with each other and in surroundings. She also preached the true values of patriotism, love, sharing and caring to the students. The event concluded on a happy and successful note.
