SPECTRUM- A CULTURAL FIESTA

DAV School Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana organized its Annual Day Celebrations ‘SPECTRUM-A CULTURAL FIESTA’ for classes Pre K.G to II from 19^th Dec, 2016 to 21^st Dec, 2016. The event was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Hon’ble Dr. B.B. Sharma Ji(regional Director and Manager Ludhiana Zone). The event was graced by many elite dignitaries including Principal J.K Sidhu (RTC Coordinator Ludhiana), Mr. Rajendra Singh, Mr. Aman Bawa (Parent Representatives). The event had a pious beginning with the traditional Lamp Lightening  Ceremony followed by the recitation of Gayatri Mantra and DAV Anthem. The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar accorded a formal welcome to all the dignitaries, guests, grandparents and parents of the tiny tots. She thanked the dignitaries for their unconditional support in giving latitude to the event. In her address she emphasized that this event in small effort to polish the talent and presentation skills of the blooming buds. The event is an attempt to instill confidence in the little ones to overcome their stage fear and perform fearless. She also stated that Kindergarten time is the most unique time in the life of both the parents and their children. Therefore, it needs to be made special so that it can be treasured in the recesses of heart as cherishable memories. She also admired the efforts of the teachers who left no stone unturned in grooming the students for a spectacular show. She also thanked the parents for their cooperation and support to the school. The event was a spectrum of mesmerizing performances by the cherubs. The well-organized choreography on the song Jazba filled the audience with viguor and enthusiasm. The presentation on Healthy diet enthralled and convinced the crowd. The chair dance and patriotic dance left the crowd spellbound. The footsteps of little Gabrus and Mutiyars on the beats of bhangra stole the hearts of the audience. The Chief Guest Hon’ble Dr.B.B. Sharma Ji appreciated the students for their efforts. He congratulated the teachers and parents  for the unsurpassed performance of their children . He enlightened the gathering with his pearls of wisdom. He appealed that whatever the children had done must be rewarded with encouragement and appreciation. Their acts should not be judged but observed as their finest work in their capacity. Their presentation is a tribute to their parents and a gesture of gratitude to their well wishers. All they need is shade of love and to be accepted with affection. Mrs. Jaideep Kaur proposed the vote of thanks to all present for sparing some moments of their valuable time to boost the morale of the school and the students.  The event concluded with National Anthem. The event accomplished with fond memories of love, affection and success.
