STATE LEVEL VAIDIK CHETNA AND CHARITRYA NIRMAN SHIVIR INAUGRATED AT DAV PAKHOWAL ROAD LUDHIANA

 DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana has inaugurated the State Level  Vedic Chetna and Charitrya Nirman  Shivir on its campus on 5th June 2018 for the students of 6th, 7thand 8th classes . Around 30 schools with 250 female students and 50 teacher delegates have become a part of this 6 day Spiritual Camp.. The Camp was inaugurated by the pious hands of Hon’ble Mrs. Mamta Ashu, Councillor and a renowned social activist of Ludhiana who performed the customary Havan alongwith Rev. Swami Surya Dev Ji and Pr.Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar, President Arya Yuva Samaj, Punjab. The event was made more momentous with the gracious presence of Shri Roshan Lal Arya Ji, President Ved Prachar Mandal, Ludhiana and Dr. Nerotma Sharma, Professor Malwa Khalsa College for Women Ludhiana and Shri Ramit Malik Ji. The glorious presence of esteemed dignitaries and LMC members Mrs and Mr Dharampal Jain, Shri Yogesh Soni Ji and Pr. Dr. Anu Verma added a huge lustre to the event.

Pr. Dr. Bhullar shared that with the blessings of Arya Rattan Padam Shri Dr. Punam Suri Ji Hon’ble President DAVCMC, New Delhi and President Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha,New Delhi and the guidance of Respected Shri J.P. Shoor Ji, Director PS-I, the camp has been initiated with the aim to inculcate and promote the eternal vales and wisdom of the Vedas among the budding stakeholders. It is a pursuit to teach the students the essence of being a true Arya. She also acknowledged the indispensible role of Respected Dr. S.K. Arora, Regional Director and Rev. Dr. Mrs Ajay Sareen, Manager for giving latitude to the event.

Mrs Mamta Ashu Ji shared that it was the best occasion to celebrate the World Environment Day. The pious fumes of the sacred Havan purified the atmosphere. She criticised the crime and corruption against women and appealed for equality and justice for the girl child.

The guest speakers enlightened the students with their precious discourse. Swami Surya Dev Ji threw light on the pivotal role of prominent Arya Samajists in bringing social reformation. He also introduced the crux of Vedas and Vedic principles to the budding Aryas. Dr. Mrs Nerotma Sharma took session on ‘ Swayam Se Pyar Karein’.Shri Roshan Lal Arya Ji unfolded the philosophy of Arya Samaj in front of the students.

The students began their day with Yogic drill and Auspicious Havan which brought peace and sacredness to the entire ambience. Motivational videos infused new life in the students and channelized the energy of the students into right direction. The students were thoroughly engaged in several thoughtful activities throughout the day. Many skill enhancement activities like fine arts, sacred hymns and bhajan sandhya, G.K. Quiz on Arya Samaj etc were organized to educate and entertain the students. The students learnt performing many chores like washing their utensils and clothes themselves, thus learning the important lessons of dignity of labour and self dependence.

The day was well spent by the students in their extended family. New relationships and bonds seemed developing amongst the girls from different schools. They had a gala time interacting and sharing their opinions with each other. It was an overwhelming venture for all.
