DAV National Sports-2018 Cluster Level Taekwondo – Karate , Wushu Tournament at DAV Pakhowal, Ludhiana

DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana hosted the DAV National Sports Cluster Level Taekwondo, Karate and Wushu Tournament-2018 on 31st October, 2018. The DAV National Sports is a realm initiated by Hon'ble Dr.Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi to give latitude to sports and physical fitness amongst youth throughout India. The event was   materialized under the able supervision and guidance of the host Principal Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar.  Around 250 sportstars from 6  Clusters- Ludhiana, Jalandhar and J&K, Patiala, Bhatinda, Samana, Amritsar, Ferozpur Zone, became a part of this integral event. The event was inaugurated with a sacred Poojan ceremony by Dr Bhullar followed by her pearls of wisdom and words of encouragement to the budding sportsmen. In her felicitous address Dr. Bhullar credited Hon'ble Dr.Punam Suri Ji for his broad vision of giving golden platform to the students around India to prove their mettle in sports field and bring laurels to their institutions and nation alike. She emphasized the significance of true sportsmanship and stated that if winning gives joy then losing teaches us the lesson not to give up and prepare harder to revive with bang. The players displayed a spectrum of courage, cooperation and sportsmanship. On the other hand they gave a cut throat competition to each other and clinch the top most positions.
