‘Anand Utsav’- Annual Day Celebrations

DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana hosted 'Anand Utsav' the Annual day celebration of class IV on its campus on 3 May 2025. The event radiated youthful exuberance, cultural richness, and artistic elegance, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present. The celebration commenced with a divine invocation through ceremonial lamp lighting and the chanting of soulful Vedic mantras followed by soulful Vandana, invoking the blessings of the Almighty and setting a serene, spiritual tone for the evening. Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar extended a warm and genial welcome to all the guests.
With sparkling eyes and infectious energy, students mesmerized the audience through a series of dazzling cultural presentations. From classical Indian themes to international dance forms like Swedish, Russian, Japanese, and Spanish — each performance infused universal integrity. Traditional acts like the Marathi devotional dance, the symbolic Five Elements performance, the Ravana act, and the soulful Sufi piece added depth and dimension to the show.
Mrs. Tejinder Kaur, Academic Supervisor, shared that the event served as a meaningful platform for students to hone their creative expressions and interpersonal skills. She also expressed her gratitude to all the parents and students for presenting a spectacular show.
Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated and encouraged the stakeholders to stay goal-oriented, embrace every day challenge as a stepping stone, and continue striving towards their dreams with courage and conviction.
The spotlight of the grand event was the mighty spirited Bhangra performance by energetic gabrus and mutiyars who compelled the entire gathering to tap its feet on the beats of the dhol. The event concluded on a happy and cherishable note with the recitation of National Anthem, filling everyone with a sense of pride and togetherness.
