The staff and the students of DAV Pakhowal Road Ludhiana once again stepped ahead to promote Hon'ble P. M.'s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by initiating a cleanliness drive in the School itself. As per the guidelines of respected DEO Ludhiana, the entire school gathered to take pledge to be an active part of the noble campaign on 26-09-2017. Ms Gurdeep Kaur (HOD Punjabi) administered the oath that stated that the present DAVeans will leave no stone unturned to maintain the cleanliness around the surroundings. Also they would spread awareness among the masses to keep the localties neat and healthy. Jhanvi Behl (XII Com) who is known as Bharat ki Beti for her patriotism and sensitivity towards social issues encouraged the audience to participate actively in the cleanliness drive. The staff and the students were enthused to take up the responsibility of this noble mission. The Principal Dr Satwant Kaur Bhullar conveyed that the school has already been pursuing the campaign as a regular feature. The staff and students are fully devoted to this endeavor. In fact the school has been organizing several activities to promote community health and sanitation. DAV Pakhowal Road Ludhiana has always been a part of local cleanliness drives organized at Railway Station and slums. The school is privileged to undertake pursuits which aim towards the social welfare and reformation.
