DAVMUN-2018 CONCLUDED AT DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, PAKHOWAL ROAD, LUDHIANA

The three-day DAV Model United Nations – 2018 hosted by DAV Public School concluded on a vibrant note on 2ndDecember. The event was graced by Hon'ble Shri J. P. Shoor, Director PS-I,   DAVCMC, New Delhi and Pradhan Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab as the Chief Guest of the occasion alongwith other  dignitaries Pr. Mrs J. K. Sidhu, ARO Ldh Zone, Dr. Mrs. Bharti Uppal, Mr. Akshey Girdhar, Pr. Anu Verma, elite members of the LMC and distinguished guest Principals Dr. Mohan Lal Sharma, Ms. Saroj Bhanot, Ms.Anuja Bhardwaj, Ms. Sonali, Mr. Paramjit, Ms. Anita Verma and Pr. Brij Mohan.

The DAV Model United Nations witnessed participation of 400 delegates from renowned schools of Punjab. Principal Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar along with guests inaugurated the ceremony by kindling the lamp of knowledge followed by chanting of holy Ved Mantras. .Hon'ble Sh. J.P. Shoor in his address congratulated Pr. Dr. Bhullar as well as DAVMUN committee members for their remarkable work. He urged the delegates to generalize the solution which they have drawn after debating to make real life impact. He wanted each one to shoulder the responsibility of being a global citizen with pride.

The ceremony became more momentous with the classical dance performance and melodious folk orchestra showcased by the students. The audience appreciated each and every bit of the programme. Sh. J.P. Shoor felicitated the delegates for their strenuous efforts and  setting a bench mark for others who aspire to become world leaders. DAV BRS Nagar bagged Best School Delegation Award.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar acknowledged the hard work put in by the DAV  Pakhowal team. She shared that such ventures are a revolutionary step towards giving the right direction to the inquisitive minds. She expressed that it was a unique experience to watch hundreds of future world leaders getting groomed up under one roof. She felt proud of the delegates who not only kept the beacon of knowledge flaming but also passed on a rich legacy of values to their peers. DAV Pakhowal team left no stone unturned in making the ceremony a golden leaf in the history of the school.
