Activity Name: National Games and Sports of different countries
Sub Activity 1: Gathering Information about the National Games
The students of class VI, VII, VIII gathered information about various national and international games played in the countries of study through PPTs shown by the sports faculty. The orientation helped students to participate enthusiastically in students of partner schools through Skype session.
Learning Outcomes:

The students were able to know about various national and international games played around the globe.

The students were able to identify games and the rules to play Volleyball, Kabaddi, Basketball, Taekwondo, Hockey etc.
Sub Activity 2: Renowned Players
The students of classes I, II, VI, VII and VIII were shown PPTs on prominent and famous players playing the National games of the countries of study. The students also shared the information with partner school through Skype session.

The students were able to appreciate their talent and achievements of the players.
Sub Activity 3: BIOSKETCHES
The students of class VII gathered information about the national and international players of the games played in the countries of study and wrote detailed Biosketches of their favorite sport stars. They also read biographies for their research to make it more valid and authentic. The information was duly shared with the students of partner school through Skype session.

Sub Activity 4: Bulletin Board Decoration Competition
A Bulletin Board Decoration Competion was organized for the students of class VII in which students adorned their class bulletin boards with pictures related to their favourite national and international games. The competition was duly judged by the school faculty. The best work was shared with the partner schools.

Sub Activity 5: PPTs on Courts and Arenas
A seminar on the construction and measurements of various courts and arenas of various national and international games conducted by Mr. Naveen for the students of classes VI-VIII. The students learn the construction to understand the rules further.

Sub Activity 6: Scrap Books
The students of classes I and II pasted pictures of their favourite sports stars in their scrap books with beautiful adjectives and phrases. The students of class VI researched about their favourite sportstars and compiled the information with pictures in elaborate scrap books. The best work done was shared with the students of the partner school through Skype session.

Sub Activity 7: Practical Demonstration
The students of class VIII learnt to mark tracks and arenas of national and international games of the study in the school ground. Under the guidance of Mr. Naveen and Mr.ChanderMohan. The students learnt the demarcation as per the guidelines of the respective sports.

The students were able to understand and construct various arenas and courts with practical training.
Sub Activity 8: Paragraph Writing
The students of class VII expressed their opinions about their favourite games in paragraph writing in Hindi language. The students also drew the sports equipment related to their favourite game in their notebooks.

Sub Activity 9: Evaluating
The students of class VI and VII were evaluated for the global knowledge attained by the students with specially designed worksheets. These worksheets were also sent to the partner school to be in their classrooms.

The teachers were able to have the feedback of learning imparted and attained.
Sub Activity 10: Inter class matches
The school organized its Annual Sports Meet in which the students of classes VI, VII and VIII played Inter classes Matches of Volleyball, Kabaddi, Baseball, Taekwondo and Hockey. The students were meticulously trained by the physical education faculty before the competitions.

The students were able to learn the importance of physical fitness.

The students were able to have hands on experience of various national and international games.

The students were able to display their skill and interest in various games.
NOTE: A special Skype session was organized with the partner school and all the activities were shared through PPTs, videos and chat. The students interacted on their respective national games.
Challenges Faced:
It was a bit difficult to arrange some of the international game like Baseball. The time span for training and selection of the students for all the games together should have been little more.
