DAV SPORTS EMPOWERING - DAVians CLUSTER LEVEL TOURNAMENT 

tournament “Empowering – DAVians” on its vibrant campus on 24th July 2024. Around 400 promising sports enthusiasts from six schools of Ludhiana Zone

showcased their verve and zeal for different games on the turf. The event commenced with a ceremonial chanting of sacred mantras, seeking the blessing of Almighty for the success of the tourney. Under the supreme leadership of Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar, the students wholeheartedly participated in the oath taking ceremony,embodying the spirit of the occasion.

The tournament highlighted victorious performances in Handball, Hockey, Kabbadi, Boxing, Shooting, Squash, Chess, and Yoga, underscoring a diverse showcase of athletic excellence.

The entire arena buzzed with applause when athletes exhibited their endurance and resilience setting a formidable challenge for their opponents to achieve.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar acknowledged the significant contribution of Arya Rattan Padam Shri Awardee Hon'ble Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi to the realm of sports, leading to holistic development of the students. She lauded Mr. Rajesh Thakur, HOD Sports Dept., and his team for making the event a grand success. She expressed

her gratitude to the students for their exceptional sportsmanship and skills and their coaches for their dedicated effort in training the students. She wished for the well-being and success in the state level endeavour. The event concluded with National Anthem.
