CYBER SECURITY SESSION

DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana organized an interactive session on Cyber Security by Mr. Manmohan Singh Chahal, Director Motoweb Solutions and Software Development for the students of Classes VII to XII.

Mr. Chahal acquainted the students with threats involved in using social networking. He also warned the students against misleading social elements that may be a serious threat to their privacy. He also made them aware about the bluff and deception routes followed by hackers and extortionists. He also informed the students about various ethics and etiquettes to use internet and social media.

The eye opening session was followed by a felicitation ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of computer wizards who left no stone unturned to enhance the glory of the alma Mater in various IT competitions.

Vaibhav Mittal (X-D)  bagged Gold Medal in India Skills Competition, representing Punjab, organized by NSDC.Deekshita Tangri(X H) and Akshat Gupta (XII) won a Gold Medal, Kavish Suneja (X D) and Aadil Gupta (XII) received a Silver Medal, and Samrit Thakur (X A) received a Bronze Medal in Future Tech Olympiad. Approximately 70 students received certificates for completing different courses, such as Sorting Algorithm, Mern Stack, Python, and many more. 

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar congratulated the students for their exemplary results, recognizing their diligent efforts. She stressed the indispensable need of such crucial workshops for the students.

The session was indeed informative and fruitful for the students that focussed on how to stay safe.
