Pratibimb - the celebration of childhood

DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana organised the annual day celebration of Class V on its campus on 30 Aug 2024. The mass participation by around 300 enthusiastic students filled the ambience with vigour and vitality. The grand event was inaugurated by Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar who extended a warm reception to all the grandparents and parents who seemed equally keen to watch their blossoms perform. The function commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony and an overwhelming obeisance to Almighty through classical dance by the students. The event also acknowledged the achievements of the proud alumni of DAV who have brought laurels to India during the recent Olympics. Some of the important SDGs such as women empowerment and peace & justice were also emphasized in the presentations.

Mrs Tejinder Kaur (Academic Supervisor) shared that the event was wrapped around the theme of happy childhood for all. The event was a small  pursuit to sensitize and urge the public to help the underprivileged children who are often ignored by our society.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated the efforts of the teachers for portraying their concern for the society. She also admired the students for executing the ideas through convincing presentations. She extended her gratitude to all the guests for their cooperation and support. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Mrs Tejinder Kaur and a cherishable Bhangra performance by the students.
