Transportation Vigilance meeting

Transport vigilance meeting was held at DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana under the able supervision of Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar on 29th April 2022. The meeting focussed on the safe and secure transportation of the students while commuting to school. Dr. Bhullar appointed a 7-Member transport committee including Ms Santosh Kaur and Mr Rajesh Thakur as the President and Mr Inderjit  Singh and Shri Maan Singh Chauhan as the prime members. Alongwith this , a teacher incharge has be allocated  to each bus to record the attendance of the students everyday. The committee will hold regular meetings to keep the transportation in order.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar stressed that the school transport shoulders the most sensitive responsibility of  transporting students from their their homes to the school. The drivers and conductors must be thoroughly vigilant while performing their duties. The transporters must ensure the regular maintenance of the buses including GPS systems, Cameras and proper documentation. She advised that there should be strict compliance of all the guidelines related to school transportation issued by Hon'ble Supreme Court. She appealed the supporting staff to be humble and patient with the most precious assets of the parents. She assured that no negligence or compromise will ever be tolerated with the safety and security of the students.Dr. Bhullar also urged the parents to support all the transport facilitators as they have undergone a lot during the pandemic by clearing their dues timely so that they remain motivated to work harder.
