Session on Customer Rights and Cyber Security by RBI officials
The Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Club and Cyber Security Club of DAV Public School, PakhowalRoad,Ludhiana organised a session under Intensive Awareness Programme -2022 by SLBC and RBI to spread awareness about protection from various cyber frauds and crimes due to digital payments on 29th November in school premises.
The guest speakers of the session equipped the students with precautions to handle fake calls , ATM cards and other digital payments and transactions.
Sh. Sanjay Gupta (LDM Punjab & Sindh Bank Ludhiana District expatiated upon Customer Rights. Sh. Pramod Kumar (CPC Head Bank of Maharashtra Ldh) spoke at length about Digital Frauds and Precautions. Sh. Dushyant Bishnoi (Chief Manager, Bank of Maharashtra, Ludhiana) threw light on Internal & External Ombudsman.
Around 300 students attended the session on awareness on digital fraud and cyber crime.The knowledge imparted during the session was priceless as the e-banking frauds have become common these days.
The session was an eye opener for the students and teachers that enabled them to manage their online transactions in the best possible manner in future.
Pr.Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar thanked the RBI officials for taking initiative to address such a crucial topic and quoting plausible remedies.
