Oral Hygiene Awareness Programme for students

DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana in collaboration with Clove Dental Clinic Sarabha Nagar,Dugri, Ludhiana organised an oral hygiene programme and free Dental check up for the students on 23 and 26 Nov 2022. A team of experts including Dr. Parul Sharma, MDS (Periodontist and oral implantologist) ,
Dr. Ravneet Kaur, BDS(General dentist) and Mr. Love Sharma (Dental Assistant) came with  their dental equipment and carried out a comprehensive dental checkup for classes 1st to 12th.

The camp included  dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments — especially stressing tooth decay and gum diseases and the measures to prevent them. The students were informed  about the healthy eating patterns and food choices which can lead to good dental health. The Doctors individually  guided each and every student according to their Dental Problems and treatments. They also highlighted the importance of Oral Hygiene and Cleaniness.

The young students cherished the chance to interact with the dentists to inquire and gain knowledge about their oral health and maintaining good oral hygiene.
