Health Check Camp at D.A.V Public School

D.A.V Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana, in association with Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana organized a special Health Check up Camp for its teachers on 16-12-2022. An expert team from Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana under the able supervision of Mr. Jaspal Singh visited the school for the health consultancy of the school staff. The camp included free medical consultation, cardiology screening , ECG monitoring, blood sugar measurement, BP measurement, Body Mass Index (BMI)and oxygen saturation.The  faculty sorted out several queries and issues related to health and fitness.

Dr. Rohit prescribed    various muscle relaxation techniques and  diet  plans as per the requirement of  the lifestyle of  teachers. The team held one to one consultancy with the teachers  and spread awareness about maintaining balanced and active lifestyle.

The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated the efforts of Ms. J. Seema, the medical coordinator of the school  for arranging the elite team of Fortis for  strengthening the fitness of DAV faculty.

She  said that robust health of the teachers is prerequisite for the smooth  and efficient running of the institution. She also added that  regular health check-ups are really important and  can help us to prevent chronic diseases and long-term illnesses .

She also assured that the school will keep on organizing such camps to ensure the medical fitness of the  staff and students in future also.
