WORLD HEALTH DAY

The NSS Unit of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana celebrated World Health Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on its campus. With the aim to spread awareness regarding the importance of living healthy lifestyle a session on yoga and meditation was arranged for the students. The students were apprised of the correct posture to be followed while performing different yoga asanas and meditation. The zealous students received accolades from Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar for performing the different yoga asanas in a correct manner and understanding its core importance in today’s fast paced world. She shared numerous easy techniques with which one could achieve inner peace and self – control which will in turn help them to achieve better focus in life. She motivated students to spread the knowledge about this noble practice of healthy living amongst their near and dear ones. The session concluded with a pledge taken by the students to create a better and healthy world for themselves and others.
