Plantation Drive at DAV Public School

The NCC and NSS Unit of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana with great enthusiasm organised One Child One Plant drive to instill the eco- consciousness among students for the development of a healthy environment for all. Under the able supervision of Mr. Madan Lal Sharma and Ms. Pooja Veshishtha, Associate NCC officer(ANO) and Mr. Rajesh Sharma, NSS programme officer, the zealous Cadets and Volunteers sowed the saplings in the school campus with a promise to nurture mother nature in the years to be.

The ardent Environmentalist Pr. Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar admired the NSS and NCC team for their active participation and making this noble mission of nurturing nature a grand success. The  shared that DAV Pakhowal has always been a great supporter such green drives and always strives to create responsible citizens who will have a positive impact on society. She along with students vowed to nurture the saplings forever and spread the message of this mission amongst the masses for a better tomorrow.
