BADLAAV- PLASTIC SE AZADI CAMPAIN

DAV Public School Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana in collaboration with  Switch for Change Foundation celebrated  "Badlaav- Plastic se Azadi "in the month of August.The staff & students of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana contributed their whole hearted Shramdaan by being a part of this campaign. They collected single use plastic from the houses and deposited the waste in school for recycling. The focus was on curbing the use of single use plastics. Science teachers discussed  about the harmful effects of plastic. The students eagerly participated in these conversations, shared their stories and ideas to contribute towards making their country a plastic-free nation. Pr.Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated the  indepth vision and noble mission of the society. She shared that such campaigns certainly add to the holistic development of the students as they are keen learners and most willing to act.   .

Ms.Puja Singh, Coordinator Eco Club  shared that It was indeed inspiring to witness the young minds brimming with innovative solutions and a genuine concern for the environment.
