DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL PAKHOWAL ROAD HOSTED  BASIC LIFE SAVING TRAINING

DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana in association with Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana organized comprehensive Basic Life Skill Training Session for students of Class X. This initiative aimed to equip the students with the knowledge and abilities necessary to respond effectively in life-threatening situations. The informatory session was graced by the resource person of day of Dr.Manender Kumar, MBBS, MD, PDCC, Additional Director – Cardiac Anaesthesiology and AHA, BLS & ACLS Instructor, and his diligent team. During the session the students and teachers were given hands-on training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and how to identify and respond to choking emergencies in various age groups, ensuring they can provide timely assistance. Dr.Manender Kumar through a well-prepared Power Point presentation acquainted everyone with various techniques that can help them save someone’s life in critical situation. He addressed every query of the students in an easy and effective manner. Mrs. J. Seema Sharma, Medical Coordinator of the School, shared many tips with the students to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Principal Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar lauded the students for participating in live demonstrations activity and showcasing their sensitivity towards topic. She expressed her gratitude to Dr.Manender Kumar and his team from Fortis Hospital for equipping the DAV Pakhowal students with Basic life saving skills and preparing them to respond responsibly in critical situations.
