Traffic Awareness Programme

In an earnest endeavor to promote road safety and awareness, DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road Ludhiana, hosted a Traffic Awareness Programme on February 9, 2024. The event was graced by a team from the traffic police department, aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and caution among parents and students towards safe road practices.

Mr. CharanjeetLamba(Assistant Commissioner of  Traffic Police ) ,  Mr. Avtar Singh(Assistant Sub-Inspector) Zonal Head Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, and Speaker of the day Mr. Jasvir Singh were the esteemed members  of this noble endeavour.The presence of Mrs. Amar Pali, Coordinator Indian Head Injury Foundation, along with her partner, Mr. Gaurav, who lends his volunteer services to Traffic Police Ludhiana and Mr. Gaurav Jain, President VidhyaPrayas NGO, along with his team members added further gravitas to the event.

The programme witnessed the participation of 150 parents along with their wards from DAV Pakhowal, who actively engaged in a helmet distribution drive, emphasizing the crucial importance of protecting oneself and loved ones while on the road.

This was accompanied by a heartfelt pledge to foster a culture of road safety and awareness.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated the noble enterprise of the traffic police department and expressed gratitude for their tireless efforts in promoting road safety and awareness in the community.
