Charity campaign for the underprivileged as a tribute to Mahatma Hansraj Ji

In the wake of Mahatma Hansraj ji's birth anniversary the staff and students of DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana joined hands with the school Arya Yuva Samaj team to raise charity for the underprivileged. The volunteers of Arya Yuva Samaj Unit left no stone unturned to collect useful items of daily needs for the residents of old age homes and school of children with special needs. The team visited Balaji Prem Ashram & Nikhil Vidhalya and Manukhta di Sewa- Supneya da Ghar with bundles of joy and hope to cheer the residents.

Ms Shaveta Kaplish , Coordinator School Arya Yuva Samaj team shared that through this endeavour the students are given opportunity to interact and empathise with the have nots. They learn to share and value the privileges they have been blessed with.

One of the student volunteers Gursheen Kaur Class XII shared that it was a pleasure to meet the innocent students. Interaction with them was an eye opener for all of us.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar applauded the efforts of the staff and students for donating generously to the noble cause. She emphasized that leading a philanthropic life is a true tribute to Mahatma Hansraj Ji.
