International Water Day Celebration

The school Arya Yuva Samaj unit in association with Eco Club and NSS unit observed International Water Day on 22 March 2025. On the occasion the volunteers of all the units alongwith the staff members pledged to conserve and preserve the most vital and valuable resource of nature.

The stakeholders attended an eye-opening webinar on 'Conservation of Glaciers' by Dr. Rajinder Singh, a renowned water rejuvenator and environmentalist, popularly known as the 'Water Man of India'.

The session enriched the knowledge of the attendees on the catastrophic repercussions of uncontrollable melting of Glaciers.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar encouraged the students to initiate sustainable conservation of water. She guided them on wise consumption of drinking water in school as well as at home. She stressed the rule to use water bottles for drinking water from RO sources installed in school instead of wasting water by cupping hands. She motivated everybody to respect and conserve the elixir of life.
