DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana students bagged recognition at 27 th National Children's Science Congress
The budding scientists Tavleen Kaur and Shubhkarman Saharan of Class XI from DAV Pakhowal Road Ludhiana participated in the 27th National Children's Science Congress (District Level) was organized by National Council for Science and Technology Communication held at R.S. Model School, Ludhiana. The students grabbed heartfelt appreciation for their unique project ‘Synthesis of Novel Bio absorbent based on Rice Husk and Stubble for Wastewater Treatment’. The visitors admired the creative thinking and indispensable utility of the project in controlling the elements which pollute the air and water resources and will help in safeguarding them for coming generations.
The project Incharge Jagdeep Singh (Senior Physics Teacher, DAV Public School Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana) shared that the project is a boon for farmers and people alike as it will kill two birds with one stone.
Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar congratulated the team for the wonderful performance. She shared that the school also got tremendous recognition at National Children Science Congress - National Level with B+ grade. She stated that it was indeed a golden opportunity to display the project amongst 22 teams from the district. Participation in such a grand event itself was a huge exposure. The school team came back enriched and qualified for state level. The school has been providing lucrative opportunities for the students to learn and progress. She also assured that the school is leaving no stone unturned to enhance the academic and co-curricular strength of the students.
