DAV Pakhowal celebrated the Prakash Utsav Of Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji

On the auspicious and pious occasion of 412^th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji, DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana organized the sacred celebrations of this momentous event on its campus on 2^nd September 2016. The staff and the students relished the soulful Gurubani recited by the school choir.The sacred hymn ‘ Jo Mange Thakur apne ….’ And many more melted away the anxieties and stress of the world and restored a magical repose.The principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar expressed her  elation and extended her heartiest congratulations to all present on the occasion. She shared that Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji is repository of all spiritual wisdom that is indeed a gateway to ultimate salvation. The divine preachings and sermons compiled in that Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji is a solution to all the worldly fears and problems. Its divine script and holy preaching is the real Guru, a true Guide that has been enlightening the darkness of ignorance and disbelief. She also insisted that the teachers must draw inspiration from Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji for leading a virtuous life as its each and every word is an ideal lesson to be learnt and taught. Cleanliness of body, mind and soul can only be attained with spiritual training and introspection. And undoubtedly nothing can be better referred than to Shri Guru Granth Saheb Ji.

The celebrations were further given latitude with a customary Havan performed by Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar and the Transport Committee to seek the blessings of Almighty for the well being and prosperity of one and all. Dr Bhullar threw light on the power in prayers. She said that she herself is the staunch follower of secularism and consider it to be the greatest religion of mankind. One should not surrender to the circumstances but be submissive to God’s will.
