DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana launched its first e-magazine ‘Kshitij-The Horizon’on 4^th September,2016. It was a momentous occasion in the history of school that Hon’ble Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi inaugurated the ‘Kshitij-The Horizon’ with his auspicious hands in the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries including  Rev. Mrs Mani Suri Ji, Dr. S.S. Johl Ji (Vice Chairman, DAV Public School, Ldh), Dr. B.B. Sharma Ji (Regional Director and Manager DAV Pakhowal Road, Dr. Satish Kumar Sharma Ji (Director Colleges DAVCMC), Mrs Rekha Bhardwaj ( Sr. LMC Member), Pr. Mrs Anu Verma (Police DAV, Ldh) Pr. Yogesh Duggal (DAV Kot Isse Khan, Moga).The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar extended a heartfelt floral welcome to the illustrious dignitaries. The magazine was released with a click start by Dr. Punam Suri ji. Afterwards it was ready to be accessed by the public. Dr. Punam Suri Ji showered his benevolent blessings on all present. In his address he appreciated the initiative of the exhibition of the novel anthology through social media. He also congratulated the school for setting a new trend among the city schools. He felt elated to see the school moving at pace with time and technology.

The principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar shared the expedition of the ‘Kshitij-The Horizon’. The idea was initiated as an eco-friendly technique to control the wastage of paper and to create awareness about the judicious use of social media among the students. Through the magazine the school aims to hunt and polish the budding writers, narrators and poets. It is an attempt to gel the creativity of the students in a soft copy flier that could reach the public in a convenient and swift manner. The magazine records the original and creative expression of the teachers and the students in all the three languages and art work. Through this medium the students’ creativity would be given a larger exposure on a concrete platform. Their work will not only remain restricted to the school walls but would get an extension amongst the masses. The magazine will be available soon on the school website. She also requested the readers to acknowledge and appreciate the tiny efforts made by the students. She ensured that the school will make continuous efforts to supply a healthy and useful range of content which will keep the readers engrossed. The magazine is a small endeavor to promote the free expression of the students. She also thanked the dignitaries for their magnanimous and unending support to the occasion.
