D.A.V Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana celebrated ‘Matra Bhasha Diwas’

D.A.V. Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana organised an entertaining ‘ Mushahera and Kavi Sammelan’ for its teachers on the occasion of ‘Matra Bhasha Diwas’. The teachers had a gala time expressing their feelings and emotions through their beautiful and self-composed poems.

The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar appreciated the oratory skills of the teachers and their convincing views. She opines that feelings can be best expressed in mother tongue only. She admired the thoughtful expressions of the teachers in describing their concern about social issues. The teachers addressed various issues like corruption, mother, surgical strike, life of soliders etc. The satirical and humourous  poems left the gathering into peels of laughter. It was indeed a great platform for the teachers to give a vent to their sentiments beyond the barriers of language.
