TWO DAY CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME ON CAREER GUIDANCE CONCLUDES AT DAV, PAKHOWAL ROAD, LUDHIANA

The two day Capacity Building Programme on Career Guidance concluded gloriously at DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana on 18th September,2019. Around 55 delegates from different CBSE schools participated in the programme. The resource persons Pr. Sh. Dalbir Singh, Principal Gyan Ganga School, Sangrur and Pr. Ms. Monica, Principal of Everest Public Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana graced the concluding ceremony with their benign presence. The workshop marked a   cherishable learning experience for all the delegates. A felicitous valedictory ceremony was organised to honour the resource persons for their efforts and appreciate the delegates for their active participantion throughout the workshop.

The words brought a productive transformation in the teachers to suggest careful career option. The objective of career guidance  was to find solutions to the common problems through sharing and professional counselling. Numerous effective strategies were propsed to deal with the routine and complex problems of the students . The stress was laid on the  understanding students psychology. The session proved beneficial for the teachers not only from guidance point of view but also apprised them with latest career options.

The Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar thanked all the dignitaries and delegates for being a part of the learning journey. She said that the session will certainly help the talented students to decide perfect streams at Sr. Secondary Level. It would strengthen the foundation of their upcoming life. She shared that the students will passionately nurture a dream, set a goal and follows it with perseverance, diligence and steadfastness, if the right guidance will be given by teachers.

It was indeed  a fruitful and enriching session for teachers to indulge and learn from.
