Virtual celebrations of MAHATAMA ANAND SWAMI BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED 

Arya Yuva Samaj wing of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana under the wise direction of Respected Mrs Neelam Kamra (Mantri, APP Upsabha Punjab) organized a State level online celebration to pay homage to the divine mentor, Mahatama Anand Swami ji on October 21, 2020. The Chief Guest of the day,  Hon'ble Shri J. P. Shoor (Director Schools PS-I and President APP Upsabha Punjab), Mrs Neelam Kamra (Mantri, APP Upsabha Punjab), Pr.Dr.Mrs Ajay Sareen (Manager), Pr. Mrs Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu (ARO PB-F Zone),  Dr. Tarsem Sharma (Head of Punjabi Department DAV College Abohar), and Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar (President Arya Yuva Samaj Punjab) paid a solemn floral tribute to Mahatama Anand Swami ji. The recitation of Vedic mantras and melodious Bhajans by DAV Pakhowal teachers along with students drenched the entire ambience into serenity. Revered Mrs. Neelam Kamra ji paid obeisance to all the pillars of Arya Samaj. She credited Arya Rattan Padam Shri Awardee Hon'ble Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President DAV CMC New Delhi for holding the reins of Arya Samaj and taking the DAV institutions to dizzing heights. She extended her heartiest welcome to Hon'ble Shri J.P.Shoor ji and the LMC memebers and distinguished gathering.  She stated that it is a matter of great pride for each DAVean to commemorate the birth anniversary of a towering personality who was an epitome of wisdom and simplicity and whose legacy is being carried forward by Arya Rattan Padamshree Dr Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC, New Delhi. The day became memorable  when Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar, President of AryaYuva Samaj, Punjab, along with the esteemed guests and DAV Pakhowal team extended special Diwali gifts and blessing to the blooming florets of Red Cross School which brightened every innocent face with a smile.

The distinguished guest speaker of the day Dr. Tarsem Sharma (Head of Punjabi Department DAV College Abohar) encouraged the staff and students to imbibe the philosophy of Mahatama Anand Swami ji for the holistic development and making their lives fruitful. He enlightened the gathering with the pious life of Mahatama Anand Swamiji quoting several inspiring incidents from his saintly life . Through his precious discourse he motivated the young Aryas to follow the trails of such a noble figure and stand exemplary for the society.

Hon'ble Shri J. P. Shoor (Director Schools PS-I and President APP Upsabha Punjab) emphasized the indispensable role of Mahatama Anand Swami ji in bringing reforms in the society with his Vedic approach. He was the one who aspired to wean the Indians away from meaningless rituals and guided them towards true Vedic ideologies. He admired Dr. Tarsem Sharma ji for his eye opener discourse. He also shared the meaning of true wealth, virtuous values  and importance of nutritious diet. He empowered the audience with his pearls of wisdom.

Pr.Dr.Ajay Sareen proposed the vote of thanks. She expressed her gratitude to all the dignitaries and esteemed gathering for being a part of this felicitous event.

Pr. Dr. Bhullar appreciated the pursuits of the teachers for imbibing the core values amongst students. She said that being a good and responsible human being is the true reverence to the holy mentor. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries for their constant support and guidance in making the occasion a grand success.The event concluded successfully with the recitation of pious Shanti Path wishing for the wellbeing of the society.
