CBSE TWO DAYS CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME

An enriching and enlightening two days Capacity Building Programme in English at Secondary Level was organized by CBSE for 75 teachers from different CBSE Schools at DAV Public School Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana on 24 and 25 April 2023. Dr.Navneet Kaur (Principal Guru Harkrishan Public School, Ludhiana) and Ms.Sonia Verma (Vice Principal Kundan Vidhya Mandir School, Ludhiana) were the resource persons for this workshop.

The seminar was designed to bring about productive transformation in teaching methods in order to make learning more student-centred.The workshop emphasised to equip the teachers with latest curriculum guidelines set by CBSE for senior classes. All English language skills were addressed in the workshop. The resource persons suggested many fruitful tips to break  monotony in the classrooms and engage the students in experiential learning. The engrossing and refreshing sessions were conducted to clarify the latest pattern of CBSE Sample papers.

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar expressed her gratitude to CBSE for giving this opportunity to host such CBPs on regular intervals that help teachers to keep abreast with the latest changes. She acknowledged the efforts of the resource persons to keep the teachers acquainted with the latest strategies and CBSE guidelines to manage the classroom environment effectively.

The workshop concluded with a falicitation ceremony. It was a great learning experience for teachers.
