Mehak Punjab Di - Celebrations of National Integration at DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road Ludhiana

The Social Science Department of DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana organised a spectacular cultural show 'Mehak Punjab Di' on its campus on 9th May, 2023. This grand event was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of Hon’ble Dr. A.P. Sharma ,City Coordinator and Principal KVM School Ludhiana, as the Chief Guest of the day. The talented students from different classes added charm to the event with their vibrant performances. Pr. Dr. A.P. Sharma, KVM Public School Ludhiana, showered his blessings upon the students for amalgamating and presenting multi cultural traditions of different states in a perfect manner.

The captivating line of traditionally decorated stalls representing the heritage of Punjab was a delight to watch. The electrifying traditional  dance forms Opera, Nukkar Natak, folk dances stole the limelight of the show. Hon'ble Pr. Dr. A.P. Sharma Ji admired the efforts of the school and shared enriching and inspiring experiences of his life with the students.

Mrs. Rupinderjit Kaur, HOD S.St. Department, shared that the idea was generated as a pursuit to integrate Culture of Punjab and Orissa as one of the Art Integrated activities which eventually took flight towards extending multi cultural domains.

Pr. Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar in her address expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Pr. Dr. A.P. Sharma for gracing the event. She emphasized that such cultural events help to polish the talent and presentation skills of the students. She  acknowledged the efforts of the teachers who left no stone unturned in grooming the students and raising the grandeur of the event. She expressed her sincere thanks to the parents for their cooperation and support to the school in all its endeavours.
