Investiture Ceremony at Dav Public School,Pakhowal Road,Ludhiana

The ‘Investiture Ceremony’ for the academic session  2023-2024 was held at Dav Public School,Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana on 10th  May 2024 with great solemnity.The day was also marked  significant  due to the  inauguration of high-performance multihued  Basketball Court  which has been added to the school infrastructure.The sports department and the basketball enthusiasts were in full spirit to  witness the ceremony.
The event was graced by   Hon’ble Dr.S.S.Johl  (Padma Bhushan Awardee, Chancellor , Central University of Punjab,Bathinda and Vice Chairman DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana as the Chief Guest.The day started with the pious  hawan followed by the inauguration of the basketball  court  by Hon'ble Johl Sir and the school Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar.The inauguration ceremony was followed by the investiture felicitation  .The  students of classes IX-XII  came forward  in large number to enroll themselves for various posts and participate wholeheartedly in the selection process. A comprehensive eligibility and selection criteria was set by the school administration to provide unparalleled opportunities to the students.The elected members  were   conferred with their respective badges  and sashes such  as  Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Cultural Secretary etc.  Donning the mantle of accountability, the newly invested office -bearers  pledged to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities.Hon'ble Dr. S.S. Johl blessed the students and  conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected prefectorial board . He guided  the students to put in  their honest and dedicated  efforts for the betterment of the school  in terms of discipline.
Pr. Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar  mentioned that with position comes great  responsibility towards the school and peers. She advised the council to be role models for all the students
