An Inspiring Talk with School Alumnus Ms Navkiran Kaur (Assistant Commissioner IRS) at DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana

DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana organised an inspirational talk by Ms Navkiran Kaur (Assistant Commissioner IRS) , an illustrious alumnus of the school from 2012 batch for classes IX -XII. Pr. Dr.Satwant Kaur Bhullar and the entire clan of teachers and students extended a warm reception to the school pride Ms Navkiran Kaur. Dr. Bhullar shared the inspiring journey of Ms Navkiran from her school days upto her professional life with the students. She shared that from getting selected as PCS  officer  through State Civil Service Examination in 2021 with remarkable rank 5. She was posted as Assistant Commissioner in Faridkot. She scaled the heights of success as she cleared UPSC and has joined Revenue Services as Assistant Commissioner IRS.

Mrs Navkiran Kaur stand as a role model for the students aspiring to join Civil Services. In her address , she stressed the significance of time management. She encouraged the students to maintain distance from social media and focus on their goals. She also directed the students to hone their employability skills and explore career options within India. She also guided the students to maintain good physical, mental and spiritual health. The address was followed by an open session for the students to get their doubts resolved.

Mrs Deepa Malhotra, Alumni Coordinator shared that such mentorship programmes enlighten the budding youth and direct it towards the virtuous path.
