TWO DAYS CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME

Under the patronage of DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, New Delhi, DAV Public School Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana ushered in a Two Days Capacity Building Programme in the subjects of Hindi, Punjabi, ICT, Commerce, Economics and IP from September 9, 2024 to September 10, 2024. Around 120 delegates from different DAV schools congregated with a coherent goal to chisel their classroom management skills and learn to provide much better child centered education to each student. 

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar (Pr. DAV Public School, Pakhowal) who is also the onsite observer, extended a grand welcome to   the resource persons – Ms. Monika Rani (DAV BRS Nagar), Ms. Monika Sharma (DAV BRS Nagar), Ms. Neeti Sharma (Police DAV) and Ms. Meenakshi Sood  (DAV Pakhowal) for Hindi; Ms. Harpreet Kaur  (DAV  BRS Nagar), Dr. Satnam Singh  ( Police DAV) and Ms. Gurdeep Kaur (DAV Pakhowal) for Punjabi; Ms. Meenu Sharma (DAV BRS Nagar), Ms. Aman Dhir ( DAV  BRS Nagar) and Ms. Damanjit Kaur (DAV Pakhowal) for commerce ; Ms. Monica Gupta ( DAV BRS Nagar) and Ms. Deepa Malhotra (DAV  Pakhowal) for Economics  ;  Mr. Deepak Thapar (DAV  BRS Nagar) and Mr. Akashdeep Tangri (DAV  Pakhowal)  for IP;  Ms. Amandeep Kaur ( DAV BRS Nagar) , Ms. Gurleen Kaur (Police DAV) and Ms. Rekha Sharma ( DAV Pakhowal) for ICT. All the master trainers were assigned the preponderant task to edify the teachers in the latest educational practices.

Many enthralling and invigorating sessions were conducted to explain the major aspects of Commerce and Economics. A myriad of suggestions were brought forward for applying technology to various business processes. Hindi and Punjabi resource persons accentuated on the LSRW skills to improve the efficiency of the students in the languages.

The workshops oriented towards providing a cognizance and calibration between the teaching-learning process as per NEP 2020  as well as NCF . The master trainers took up enthralling sessions to empower the teachers.  

Pr. Dr. Satwant Kaur Bhullar acknowledged the precious guidance and supreme role of Arya Rattan Padam Shree Awardee Hon'ble Dr.Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC New Delhi to acculturate the nation builders. She also admired Dr. Mrs Nisha Peshin (Director PS and Academics at DAVCMC, New Delhi) for her stipulated efforts in setting up an exemplar in the field of education. She also extolled Pr. Mrs Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu (ARO PB Zone-F and Training Coordinator) and Pr. Dr. Mrs Anu Verma (Cluster Head) for their constant guidance and support for the noble mission. She also acknowledged the team of Master Trainers for sharing their knowledge and guiding the teachers to mould the young impressionable minds in the most productive way.
